Dreams can come true for Chilfest festival-goers

The Chiltern Hills will come alive to the sound of music again next summer, thanks to our incredible lineup for 2027.
From Shalamar and Gabrielle to Ocean Colour Scene and Altered Images, we’re delighted to bring you an eclectic mix of artists who look set to Rise to the occasion and provide you with a weekend to remember (July 2-3).
For the past 13 years, our festival director Steve Butcher, has been bringing you a line up packed with iconic artists, huge songs and plenty of nostalgia – and 2027 is no exception.
Headlining Saturday’s festival will be soul and pop superstar Gabrielle, whose distinctive voice and string of timeless hits have made her one of Britain’s most celebrated artists. Festival-goers can expect a spectacular set featuring favourites including Dreams, Going Nowhere, Give Me a Little More Time and Rise.
Among Saturday’s artists are Ocean Colour Scene, the Birmingham indie-rock favourites who enjoyed huge success during the 90s with hits including The Day We Caught the Train, The Riverboat Song and You've Got It Bad. Their anthemic sound and instantly recognisable songs are sure to float the boat of all you Chilfest fans.
Also joining the bill are Scouting for Girls, whose infectious blend of indie pop and witty songwriting produced a string of huge hits, including She's So Lovely, Elvis Ain't Dead, Heartbeat and This Ain't a Love Song. Expect another set packed with singalong favourites.
Bringing a touch of funk, soul and disco glamour to our stage will be Shalamar, who last performed here in 2015. With classic tracks including A Night to Remember, Friends and There It Is, they are guaranteed to have you all backsliding and boogying the night away.
We are bringing a distinctly Scottish flavour too, with Hue and Cry’s sophisticated brand of pop and soul. Brothers Pat and Greg Kane will perform favourites including Labour of Love, Looking for Linda and Violently.
Keeping the party atmosphere going will be The Beat featuring Rankin Junior who follows in his father’s footsteps on our Chilfest stage. The late great Rankin’ Roger last performed with The Beat at Chilfest in 2018, bringing the band's infectious ska, reggae and pop sound to fans. Rankin Junior will be performing classic tracks such as Mirror in the Bathroom, Save It for Later and Can't Get Used to Losing You.
Joining our incredible Saturday line-up will be soul and dance music legend Alison Limerick, best known for her iconic club anthem Where Love Lives, which has become a dancefloor classic across generations, and received renewed popularity as the soundtrack to the John Lewis Christmas campaign last year.
Completing the Saturday bill will be Altered Images, fronted by the charismatic Clare Grogan. The Scottish new-wave favourites will bring their much-loved hits, including Happy Birthday and Don't Talk to Me About Love to what promises to be another unforgettable Chilfest Saturday.
Our Founder and Director Steve Butcher said: “We’re really excited about the 2027 line-up. We’re delighted to welcome back some Chilfest favourites and friends, including Gabrielle who will be a fantastic headliner, what a voice and so many great songs.
“For us, Chilfest is all about celebrating the songs that formed the soundtracks of our lives, while making new memories with friends and family to last a lifetime.”
